TRACTkote® Coating system for the Elevator Industry
The TRACKkote® coating system for traction and diverter sheaves have been developed together with leading companies in the lift industry and has been used to prolong the life of sheaves.

- In the industry there are are greater demands for higher wear resistance of traction in sheaves.
- As traditional OEM sheaves fail to meet the optimised performance, due to rapid wearing and rifling in grooves.

The most significant factors governing this are the following:
- Microstructure and hardness of the surfaces which are in contact.
- Loads on the surfaces.
- Speeds and frequency of the relative movements of these surfaces.
- Friction coefficients of the considered metals.
- Uneven loading on ropes with continuous service.
- Misalignment of ropes on sheaves.
All these factors accentuate the wear phenomena and tend to lead towards replacement sheaves.

The latest design in stackable counterweight prop equipment
The props have Work Cover Authority approval in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA for a safe working load of 4,000 and 10,000kg. The props are currently available in standard lengths and non-standard props also are available on request.
- The aluminium prop will provide lightweight and stable predictable means of supporting the counterweight of lifts and similar structures.
- The light weight construction of these aluminium props means that two people can easily carry and manipulate the prop onto site.
