WHO ARE WE?
The Green family are direct descendants of the daughter Rose Lambert Green (1847) was born in Cudgegong -Kandos – Rylstone district the daughter of King – Jimmy (c1820 – 1900) and Peggy Lambert (c1820 – 1884) the Tribal Leader & Elders of the Dabee tribe of the Wiradjuri peoples from the Cudgegong – Kandos – Rylstone areas.
Edward Leon Green commonly known as Billy was the direct descendant of John Green and Rose Green. Gerard James Green son, Edward (Billy) Green the Founder of DCL Engineering, Billy was born in Kandos 1931 he unfortunately became a ward of the state due to both parents passing, in 1938 and was moved to a foster family in Newtown where he grew up in the mid 50’s after completing his apprenticeship he started his own business called DC&L Engineering where he specialised in the repair and overhauling of Dry Cleaning and Industrial Launderette machinery starting as a sole trader and becoming a a proprietary limited company in 1960. Bill the father of Greg & Mark Green the owners of DCL Engineering who now also have third generations sons following them, Ben , James, and Aaron Green who will continue to push and grow this family business on a continuous pathway into the future with the support of DCL Engineering management and employees.
62 years (Since 1960 registered Pty Ltd) , three generations and 100% Indigenous owned company.

The company has three branches, located in Wollongong, Fairfield, and Newcastle with a team of experienced professionals using state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.
